The Washable Fine Mesh Pre-Filter is the first line of defense against the largest airborne particles found indoors, while the True HEPA Filter is designed to capture 99.99% of airborne allergens including pollen, dust, smoke, and pet dander as small as 0.01 microns. The unit's Carbon Filter can reduce VOCs and household odors from cooking, pets, and smoke, and it is designed to catch airborne particles found indoors to help prolong the True HEPA Filter life.
