According to the United States Department of Energy, a High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter must meet specific efficiency standards. In order to meet this standard, a True HEPA filter must be able to eliminate 99.97% of particles from the air that are as small as 0.3 microns in size.

Coconut Carbon

Some of our filters contain coconut carbon, which is derived from coconut shells and contains nearly 50% more micro-pores than coal. This makes it an excellent option for removing a wide variety of particles from the air.
